“IN”

In the mid-1980s I heard the following song a couple of times on a Country Radio station. Please, identify who wrote this.  It had a strong driving beat in ¾ time in the Key of G, and was probably titled “IN

IN… Go-na / find me a / soft place to / lay down and / take a rest I / think it’s best  That I / don’t see him / anymore he’ll / hurt me like he / did before I / know for sure  There’s /got to be some / place, / somewhere to / erase the / thought of him  I / got-to find me a / soft nest / I can let my / heart rest…/”IN”

Well I / lay down among the / flowers for / hours and / hours and the / showers just / drove me away  Hey / do you know where / I can find / peace of mind / for a time a / kind of a / tenderness / place  A / space that’s just / naturally / made for me just / big enough / for my love I / got-to find me a / soft nest / I can let my / heart rest…/“IN”

Thank You
